Photo Prompt – The Nature of Writing #7

Hello Readers, Writers, Teachers, and Children! I often take inspiration from nature when I’m writing, and I love to photograph flowers, trees, insects, and anything else that will be still long enough. So, I’ve decided to combine the two with The Nature of Writing photo prompt.

When I took this picture, I thought that I must’ve gotten a one-in-a-million shot. Turns out, bees often hang from these flowers. One year later, I got an almost identical shot from the same flower bush.

The secret to creating a great character is simple. In fact, there’s only one step. Get to know your character! Because, after all, if you don’t know who your character is, how are you going to convey them to anyone else?

Try this nifty outline for a character sheet. Just put yourself in your character’s shoes and fill in the blanks like you’re at the DMV. You’re going to learn things about your character that you never knew or wanted to know. Here we go!
