Hello Readers, Writers, Teachers, and Children! Do you ever feel like your characters are falling a little flat? Do they lack the depth that you love when reading a story? Do you feel blocked because you don’t know what your character would do next?
The secret to creating a great character is simple. In fact, there’s only one step. Get to know your character! Because, after all, if you don’t know who your character is, how are you going to convey them to anyone else?
Try this nifty outline for a character sheet. Just put yourself in your character’s shoes and fill in the blanks like you’re at the DMV. You’re going to learn things about your character that you never knew or wanted to know. Here we go!

If you discover anything interesting or bizarre about your characters, leave a comment about it.
